Play Time

It seemed for the first few months of Pearl's life, her schedule was primarily 'eat. sleep. eat. eat. sleep. eat.' Now that she has begun to take notice of the world beyond mommy she is discovering all sorts of wonders and her schedule has expanded to 'eat. sleep. play.' She loves her soft toys and likes to rub them up against her face to feel the soft textures on her skin.



This particular wooden toy is her absolute favorite. It fascinates her endlessly and she likes to reach up and grab onto it with her little fingers as she's getting really good at gripping things.(thanks for this one Rachel!) Sometimes she stares so hard at it she goes cross-eyed. We just got her a bouncy swing for the doorway so she can work out those strong legs of hers. I'm sure we'll be posting a video of that experiment really soon.
