Olympic Withdrawals

A week after the closing ceremonies, there's still talk in our household about the amazing victory by Canada over the U.S. in the men's final hockey game. Pearl was especially excited because she wanted to see what drama would arise between her dad and mom over who won.


She laced her skates in preparation of the game....and sported her canadian jersey (to please her dad because in her heart of hearts she was really rooting for the U.S.)


In fact, she couldn't believe her eyes when the U.S. scored in the last 27 seconds of the game to tie the score! But it was not to be for the U.S. as Canada won in overtime, still it was an exciting game and a little tumultuous in the hannaloupka household to say the least. But Pearl kept the peace by being her cute diplomatic self (she must be part Canadian).
